GARNESS, Allen Frank

Suddenly and unexpectedly, on Monday, July 10, 2017, at North Bay Regional Health Centre in his 79th year. Allen was the beloved husband of Barbara V. (Jameson) of Restoule. He was the beloved father of Ken Clute (Jackie) of Bridgenorth, Kellie Kirkpatrick (Richard) of Barrie, Joanne Wright (Russell) of Burlington, Ted Garness (Donna) of Powassan, the late Patricia Garness, the late Alanna Micallef, and Allen Garness (Lana) of Barrie, and uncle of Kevin Phippen (Risa) of Toronto. He will be lovingly remembered by his 20 grandchildren, sister Lorraine Strachan (Robert) of Petawawa, and many friends and neighbours. Allen was predeceased by two sisters and three brothers. No visitation or service. Immediate cremation. If desired, memorial donations to the Restoule Volunteer Fire Department (cheques only please) are suggested.
