AUSTIN, Beatrice Elizabeth

Bea Austin died peacefully, at North Bay Regional Health Centre, on Wednesday, January 6, 2016. She was in her 98th year. Bea (Jones) was predeceased by her husband Robert George “Bob” Austin (1913-1992). She was the beloved mother of Don Austin (Mildred) of Innisfil; grandmother of Ruth Ann (Paul Purvis) and Ken (Leah-Anne); and great-grandmother of Christopher, Dalton and Kaitlyn. Bea was predeceased by her siblings Gladys Farley, Vera Ibbitson, Albert Jones, Holly Jones and Leola Pilger. The Austin family will receive visitors at the Paul Funeral Home, Powassan on Saturday, January 9, 2016 from 1:00 to 2:00 pm. The funeral service will follow in the Paul Funeral Home Chapel, on Saturday at 2:00 pm. Cremation at Forest Lawn Crematorium has taken place. Spring interment of ashes will take place at Nipissing Cemetery. If desired, donations in memory of Bea to Restoule United Church, Restoule Community Centre, or the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario are suggested.
