HARLING, Catherine Elizabeth (January 19, 1961 – September 21, 2015)

Catherine (Kunkel) died suddenly, at her home in Corbeil, on Monday, September 21, 2015. She was in her 55th year. Catherine was the much loved daughter of Isabel (Weiler) of North Bay and the late Lawrence Kunkel. She is survived by her children Michael Barber (Lisa) of Timmins and their children Colton and Charlie, Mason Barber (Ashley) of North Bay and their children Noah and Owen, Marcus Barber (Alexandra) of North Bay; her stepchildren R.J. and Emerson; her husband Dennis Harling of Corbeil; her siblings Clarice (Jim Hale) and Marlene (Gord Stokeland), all of British Columbia, Martin (Terry) of Powassan, Daniel (Jennifer) of Fort Erie and the late Christine; her parents-in-law Dennis and Bev Harling; her sister-in-law Shelley Campbell (Chris) and many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. Family and friends will be received at the Paul Funeral Home, Powassan, on Friday, October 2, 2015 from 10:00 to 11:00 am. A memorial service will take place in the funeral home at 11:00 am. with interment of ashes at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Trout Creek. A celebration of Catherine’s life and luncheon will follow at the Elk’s Lodge, North Bay, from 2:00 to 5:00 pm. If desired, memorial donations to Canadian Mental Health Association are suggested.
