VESTER, Eric Stanley

Eric died peacefully at his Trout Creek home on Sunday, May 7, 2017, after a brief battle with cancer. His beloved wife Isabelle was by his side. He was in his 76th year. Eric was the loving father of Stan (Cindy) of Fort Frances and was predeceased by his son Andrew. He was the proud grandfather of Amanda, Stewart, Dillon, Rochelle and great-grandfather of Kayland, Carter, Leilani and Kayaum. Eric was the dear brother of Laura (late Murray), Mickey (Mary), all of Powassan and Bill (Jane) of Rutherglen. He was predeceased by his parents Ruby and Charlie, his sister Dorothy (Gordon, surviving) and brothers John (Lois, surviving), Lenard and Lloyd. Fondly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive visitors at the Paul Funeral Home, Powassan on Friday, May 12, 2017 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 pm with the funeral service on Saturday at 2 pm. Interment to follow at Trout Creek Union Cemetery. If desired, donations in Eric’s memory to the Nipissing Serenity Hospice (cheques only please) would be appreciated.
