Faye (Smith) Racicot

RACICOT, Faye Ellen

After a long battle with Polycythemia Vera disease Faye Racicot of Callander died peacefully, at North Bay Regional Health Centre, on Tuesday, January 19, 2016. She was in her 69th year. Faye (Smith) was predeceased by her husband John Paul Racicot (1943-1997). She was the beloved mother of Tracy Swantko (Chris) of Alliston, Raymond Racicot (Lisa) of Desboro and Dennis Racicot of Callander; Grandmother of Bree Racicot, Joshua Swantko, Jessica and Cody Walker. Faye was the dear sister of Frank Smith (Sharon) of Powassan, Don Smith (Bernie) of Cobourg, Mervin Smith (Betty-Anne) of Mississauga, Janice Brownrigg (Bill) of Sundridge, Michael Smith (Peggy) of Magnetawan, Francis Purdon (Ed) of Corbeil and Billy Smith (Susan) of Magnetawan. Dear sister-in-law of Theresa Gravelle (late Hector), Shirley Grandmond (late Albert), Fleurette Drouin (Ken) and Linda Wilson (Gord) all of North Bay. She was predeceased by her parents Howard and Fanny Smith and brother Howard Smith, Jr. As per Faye’s wishes, funeral services will be private.
