ROBERTSON, Freda Jane (nee. Kidd)

Unexpectedly, but peacefully, on Sunday, May 29, 2016 at Nipissing Manor, Corbeil in her 84th year. Freda was predeceased by her husband of 43 years Roy Michael Robertson (1922-1999). She was the loving and much loved mother of Michael Robertson, Callander, Heather Dick (Ben), Cobden, Susan Robertson-Hazelwood, Callander, and Mark (Erin), North Bay. Beloved “Nanny” of Matthew, Rachel and Hannah (Clinton), and Neve, Molly and Grace. She was recently thrilled to become “Great Nanny” to Levi Roy. Dear sister of Ruth Richards (Murray), Mary Anderson (Aubrey), Vera Byers (Gilbert) and John Kidd (Nancy). Predeceased by her brother Carl Kidd (Lorna, surviving). Aunt Freda will be fondly remembered by numerous nieces, nephews and their families. Freda was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and loyal friend to many and will be forever cherished. The family will receive visitors at the Paul Funeral Home in Powassan on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and on Thursday from 12 to 1 pm. The funeral service will held on Thursday at 1 pm in the funeral home chapel. Interment to follow at Nipissing Cemetery.
