HAMPEL, Frederick Thomas

Fred went peacefully to be with his Lord on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at Waters Edge Care Centre, North Bay. He was in his 91st year. Fred was predeceased by his wife Ella Rae (Brooks). He was the beloved father of Chris Hampel (Marlene) of Powassan, Sandra Fry (Randy) of Brampton, John Hampel (Brigit) of Brampton and Mary McEwan (Martin) of Barrie. He was the proud grandfather of 7 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Fred was the dear brother of Adena Pilkey of Tilsonburg, Henry Hampel of Arnstein, Lillian Barber of Scarborough, and Edie Alphonse of Arnstein. He was predeceased by siblings Marie, Beatrice, Lewis and Nora. The family will receive visitors at the Arnstein Baptist Church on Friday, November 17, 2017 from 6 to 8 pm. The funeral service will be in the church on Saturday at 2 pm. Interment to follow at Arnstein Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to the Arnstein Evangelical Baptist Church are suggested.
