HAUFE, Gordon Patrick “Pat”

Peacefully, with his loving wife by his side, on Thursday, October 06, 2016 at North Bay Regional Health Centre. He was in his 68th year. Pat was the beloved husband of Lillian Rose (Peel) of Nipissing. He was the loving father Heather Haufe of Burlington, VT, Erin Rupp (Jon) of Elgin, IL, and Greg Haufe (Terry-Lyn) of Everett, ON. He was the proud grandfather of Thomas, Ila, Andrew and David. Pat was the dear brother of Bonnie Van Wyck of North Bay and was predeceased by his parents Hazel (Garland) and Ken Haufe. Pat was a retired elementary school principal with the Near North Board, immediate past Mayor of Nipissing Township and long time member of the Corner Gospel Church. The Haufe family will receive visitors on Monday, October 10, 2016 from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 pm at the Corner Gospel Church, Restoule. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 11 at 2 pm in the church. Interment at Commanda Cemetery.
