Grace Theresa Hummel

HUMMEL, Grace Theresa (Perdue) September 28, 1925 – January 16, 2017

Grace passed away peacefully at her beloved farm with her loving family by her side. She was in her 92nd year. Loving mother to: Bonnie Reichstein (Bob), Jackie Hummel (Nancy), Philip Hummel (Jackie), Clarence Hummel (Ann), Rita Hummel (Glen), Danny Hummel (Juli), Nancy McFadden (Glen), Kenny Hummel, Gregory Hummel (Mary Jane), 16 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband Gregory Hummel (1918-1999), her daughter Carol Reichstein, her son-in-law Ronald Reichstein, her granddaughter Tania Hummel, her great-grandson Clarence Hummel, five brothers, five sisters – one of which was her special twin sister, Jean Berlinghoff. Grace is survived by her brother George Perdue (Inez) and sisters-in-law Fran and Alma Perdue. Special friend to Anne Neely. The Hummel family will receive visitors at the Paul Funeral Home, Powassan on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 from 1:00 to 5:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, January 19 at 11:00 am at Sacred Heart Church, Trout Creek. Spring interment Sacred Heart Cemetery.
