I am the oldest female cousin of Janis' generation (my mother was Josephine Humphrey). I only remember Janis as a young girl at the house in Powassan and in a couple of later meetings, but I think of her fondly and wish we could have remained closer in our older years. Please accept my sincere condolences and know that she will be remembered.

Ken & Family - Sincere sympathy as you mourn the passing of beautiful Jan. She was like family to many with her employment at the Royal Bank and through the friendships with the Whittaker, Scale and Tierney Families. God Bless. (ginny).

When I received the phone call from Rose on Monday, I went into shock and didn't know what to say. Rose & I have been life long friends and she introduced me to Jan in high school. We became instant friends and we also became the 3 Amigos. Janis was a fun loving, good time person and I never saw her without her million dollar smile. When high school was over I moved to Toronto and I drifted apart from Rose & Janis for many yrs. Janis married the lover her life and bragged about her children & grandchildren when we finally got reconnected. But her biggest smiles and stories soon turned to her grandchildren whom she adored. Greg worked with Ken at Fabrene so he then became part of our loop. For God to take such a wonderful woman means he has the best of plans for her in heaven. The last time we saw one another which was about 2 yrs ago we said we 3 amigos must get together again. We never did sadly. To all who read this ,friends are forever and families stay strong, so if you meet up with an old friend or family member take the time to visit because we never know when God's calling will come. Rest in Peace my dear Friend, knowing your up there makes me sad but I shall always have memories that will last forever. Keep on Smiling. With love to your family... Moe & Greg

Dear Ken, Stacey and Chad. It is with a heavy heart that I learn of the passing of Jan. I am so deeply sorry. As you know I worked with Jan for many years at the Royal Bank in Callander, and she was always a great person to work with. She had good customer skills, worked very hard, and always had a smile on her face. We had many good times there and as a group shared a lot of laughs. I think of her often and we had great chats whenever we met over the years.
May she rest in peace.
