CZARNOWSKI, Joan Kathleen (Winslow)

The Lord called Joan home on Tuesday, November 7, 2017, at North Bay Regional Health Centre. She was in her 93rd year. Joan was the beloved wife of Fritz Czarnowski of Callander and was predeceased by her first husband George Winslow (d. 1977). She was the loving mother of John Winslow of Hamilton and the late Richard Winslow (Gina of Burlington) and will be lovingly remembered by grandchildren Kory Winslow of Milton and Kristy Winslow of Burlington, her extended family in England and Australia, and her South Shore Church family. Joan was predeceased by her brother Peter Nutt. Visitors will be received on Saturday, November 11, 2017 from 1:30 to 2:30pm at South Shore Evangelical Missionary Church, Callander. Pastor Simon Beadle will lead the funeral service at 2:30pm. Spring interment will take place at Callander Union Cemetery. If you desire, memorial donations may be made in Joan’s memory to the South Shore Evangelical Missionary Church, which will be directed to children’s ministry (cheques only please).
