EVERS, June Faye

Peacefully at her Powassan home, surrounded by family, on Monday, May 2, 2016 after a long illness with COPD. She was in her 73rd year. June (Cole) was predeceased by her beloved husband Alban Evers (1937-1995). She was the much loved mother of Allan Evers (Jennifer) of Powassan. Nanny of Lyssa, Kendall, Kalena, Brier, Maeghan, Jaxyn, Chelbi and great grandchildren Willow and Cora. June is survived by siblings Ed “Ike” Cole of Espanola, Marilyn Pedlingham of North Bay, Wayne Cole of Massey, Heather Cole of Espanola. June was predeceased by her mother Kathleen Cole and siblings Norman, Gordon, Stella and Jean Cole. Aunt June will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. June’s family will receive visitors at the Paul Funeral Home, Powassan on Friday, May 6 from 2 to 3 pm and the Funeral Service will follow at 3 pm. Interment will take place at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Trout Creek. If desired, donations in memory of June to the M.S. Society or the Lung Association are suggested.
