ADAMS, Lois Eileen

Peacefully, at North Bay Regional Health Centre on Monday, June 12, 2017 in her 86th year. Lois (nee Odd) of Restoule, was Robert H. “Bob” Adams’ beloved wife for 63 years. She was the much loved mother of Valerie Morgan (Phil Jarvie) of Oakville, Deborah Erickson (Lee) of Bedford, Nova Scotia and Heather Doyle (Mike Townley) of Oshawa; Grandmother of Kaitlyn, Robert, Robyn, Jayne, Jocelyn, Joseph, Shawn and great-grandmother of Madeline and Benjamin. Lois was the cherished sister of Norma Nealon (Patrick) of Restoule and was predeceased by her siblings Edna Hubbert (late Ivan), Clayton Odd (Jean, surviving) and George Odd (Mickey, surviving). She was also a dear sister-in-law of Nancy Adams (late Gord), Florence Dearing (late Bill), Roy Adams (Helen), Frederick Adams (late Lynn), David Adams (Heather), George Adams (Mary), John Adams (Debbie), Ernie Adams (Nadine), and Kathy Barbeau (Bernie). Fondly remembered by many family members and friends. Cremation has taken place. The Adams family will receive visitors on Friday, June 16, 2017 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Corner Gospel Church, Restoule. A memorial service will take place at 11:00 a.m. followed by interment of ashes at Cedar Grove Cemetery, Restoule. The family would like to extend special thanks to CCAC and community caregivers as well as to doctors and staff on 3A and 3C at N.B.R.H.C.  If desired, memorial donations to St. Alban’s Anglican Church, the Canadian Cancer Society, or the Canadian Diabetes Association (cheques only please) are suggested.
