It is with deep sorrow that we regret to inform you of the passing of our loved one, Marilyn Ulrick, on April 7, 2017 at North Bay Regional Health Centre. She was born July 4, 1955 in North Bay, the daughter of Oliver Lee and the former Muriel Thurlow. Marilyn is survived by her first husband Gary Lindsay; her daughter Vicki Schwarz (Steven); her son Robert Lindsay; her sisters Sharon Wilson (Harold, deceased), Barbara Stillar (Sheldon), Beverly King (Autry) and Susan (Robin Couche) and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, grandchildren and good friend George Wyman. Marilyn was predeceased by her baby brother Robert Lee and her second husband Colin Ulrick. Marilyn had a zest for life and a wicked sense of humour. Music was a big part of her life and she learned to play the banjo so she could jam with her Dad and the family. She liked to cook and try new recipes and she made the best chokecherry wine! As per Marilyn’s request, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or service. Her ashes will be interred at a later date in Holmes Memorial Cemetery  with her Mom and Dad with a family gathering to follow.

In tears we saw you sinking, we watched you fade away,

Our hearts were sorely broken, you fought so hard to stay.

But when we saw you sleeping, so peacefully free from pain,

We could not wish you back, to suffer that again.
