My sincere condolence to Mary's families. I never had the pleasure of meeting my predecessor but her many contributions to the Powassan & District Union Public Library are still being enjoyed today. Her energy, spirit and good deeds are still mentioned periodically. She is a tough act to follow!

Very saddened by the passing of this lovely gracious lady. To Colleen, Pat, Dale, Mike and families my sincere condolence. I so enjoyed my time working under your Mom's guidance at the Library... she was so good to me. Was always amazed by the energy, spirit and knowledge wrapped up in her little being. Mary, in your heaven I hope you have found that, " sequestered nook and all the sweet serenity of books." You will be missed ♥

When I first met Mary I was struck by her kind eyes and it took just a few minutes of chatting to realize my first impression was correct. At the library she always went above and beyond to help and treated us like family and at the same making the library grow and set the foundation for what it is today. With her willingness to give of herself I'm sure she had similar impacts in the Legion or on any person she met.She will always be missed and remembered.
Sending our love to the Hall family.
