HALL, Mary Agnes (Retired Powassan Head Librarian)

With family by her side, Mary Hall died peacefully at North Bay Regional Health Centre on Friday, January 5, 2018. She was in her 89th year. Mary (Oldfield) was predeceased by her husband Darwin B. Hall (1929-1994). She was the much-loved mother of Mike (Jeanne) of Niverville, MB, Dale (Mary Lynn) of North Bay, Pat (Kristin Shepherd) of North Bay, Colleen (Clay Stewart) of Callander. Grandma will be lovingly remembered by grandchildren Scott, Sonia, Tara and great-grandchildren MacKenzie and Aria. Mary was the dear sister of the late Helene Setchell (late Harry). Mary was the Head Librarian of Powassan and District Union Public Library for 25 years, and, along with her husband Darwin, was active in the Powassan Royal Canadian Legion. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive visitors at the Paul Funeral Home, on Saturday, January 13th from 1 to 2 pm and a Celebration of Life Service will start at 2 pm, followed by a reception.
