Paul Humphrey died unexpectedly, after a brief illness, at Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie, on Wednesday, February 8, 2017. He was in his 58th year. Paul was predeceased by his parents Delia (Carnevale) and Jim Humphrey. He was the beloved brother of Trevor Humphrey (Kyla Hughes) of Burk’s Falls. Paul was the dear nephew of Cathy Whitehead (Warren), June King (Ed), Charlie Carnevale (Collette), Mag Owens, Mary Carnevale and Rose Cousineau. He will also be missed by his two nephew dogs Duke and Diesel. Paul was a long-time truck driver and over the years worked for several area construction companies. The Humphrey family will receive visitors at the Paul Funeral Home, Powassan, on Sunday, February 12, 2017 from 2:00 to 5:00 pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday at 11:00 am. Cremation will be followed by spring interment of ashes at Powassan Union Cemetery.  If desired, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario (cheques only) are suggested.
