NICHOLLS, RAYBURN JOHN

Ray Nicholls died peacefully at home in Alban, on Wednesday, January 10, 2018. He was in his 94th year. Ray was predeceased by his wife Mary (nee Davis), his daughters Wendy and Cindy, and son Randy. He was the much-loved father of Allan (Melody) of Loring, Brian (Debbie) of Restoule, Garry (Anne) of Alban, Sharon (Emmett) of Elliott Lake, Kathy Parks (Norm) of 100 Mile House, B.C. and Don Nicholls of Calgary Grandpa will be lovingly remembered by 15 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren 11 great-great grandchildren. Ray is survived by his brother Ron Nicholls (Joan) of Byron. Ray served overseas during WWII and was a 63-year member of the Royal Canadian Legion. The Nicholls family will receive visitors at St. Andrew’s United Church, Port Loring on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 from 12:30 to 2:00 pm. A Legion Tribute will begin at 1:50 pm and the funeral service will follow at 2 pm. Spring interment will take place at Port Loring Cemetery.
