GARBUTT, ROBERT A.

Bob Garbutt passed away in his 90th year at his home in Callander on Sunday, January 8, 2017. An avid Blue Jays fan and gardener. A lifelong driver, first delivering milk with a horse and buggy then transport driver. Retired from Sears Canada as a Driver Trainer. Bob was predeceased by his wife Dorothy ‘Dot’ (Graff) and his son Bob. Father to Ruth Blum (the late Rick), Dawn Ringler (Steve), Dan Garbutt (Jewel). Father-in-law of Anne Garbutt. Loving Grandad of Gayle, Robin, Thomas, Caroline, Alison, Luke and Jordan. Great-Grandad of Mitchell, Austin, Ella, Audrey and Finnley. Bob is survived by his sister Mary Code (Doug) of Sault Ste. Marie. Predeceased by seven siblings. The family will receive visitors at the Paul Funeral Home in Powassan on Sunday, January 15, 2017 from 12:30 to 2:00 pm. followed by a Celebration of Life service and reception. Interment of ashes at Callander Union Cemetery will occur in the spring. If desired, donations to the Salvation Army are suggested.
