Peacefully, at her home on the South River surrounded by family, on Wednesday, April 26, 2017. She was in her 83rd year. Sally (Wynes) was the beloved wife of James Allen Earnshaw of Nipissing. She was the much loved mother of Allen, Jr. “Jack” (Susan) of Nepean, Dani Lynn of Mississauga, Michael J. (Diane) of Callander and Elizabeth A. “Beth” (Ed Churcher) of Cameron; grandmother of six and great-grandmother of eight. Sally was the dear sister of Diane Hodge of Downsview and Douglas Wynes of Pitt Meadows. Sally has been a vibrant part of the area including Nipissing Knox United Church, Powassan Library, Powassan Padulas (rug hookers), T.O.P.S., United Church Women, and served on the North Bay Presbytery of the United Church of Canada, among many other activities since she and Allen retired here over 30 years ago. Cremation has taken place. The Earnshaw family will receive visitors at Nipissing Knox United Church on Wednesday, May 3 from 10 to 11 am with the memorial service beginning at 11 am. A reception will follow in the church basement then the interment of ashes will be held at Nipissing Cemetery at 1:15 pm.
