BROOKS, Stanley Cecil

Stanley Brooks passed peacefully into the Lord’s presence, at North Bay Regional Health Centre, on Thursday, November 5, 2015. He was in his 98th year. Stan was the beloved husband of 78 years of Ena (Rogerson) of Loring. He was the proud and loving father of Halliet Brooks (Juanita) of Loring and was predeceased by his children Donna Godin (Dan of Arnstein) and Dale Brooks (Joan of Loring). Poppa will be remembered by seven grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his grandson Perry Brooks and great-grandson Dexter Bain. Born and raised in the Loring area, Stanley and his son Halliet were the owners/operators of S&H Logging and Construction Ltd. The Brooks family will receive visitors at the Arnstein Gospel Hall on Sunday, November 8, 2015 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. The funeral service will take place in the Hall on Monday at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Port Loring Cemetery.
