HUGHES, Trevor John

After a brief battle with cancer, Trevor Hughes died peacefully, with family by his side, at North Bay Regional Health Centre on Friday, August 25, 2017. He was in his 38th year. He was a long time employee of the Near North Exteriors. Trevor was the proud and loving father of Sireya (Surra) Lynn Hughes. He was the beloved son of Lynn Serran-Hughes of Toronto, Wellington Hughes and Terry (Woods) of Mattawa. Trevor was the dear brother of Brandi Hughes of Toronto, step-brother of Robin Woods-Belanger (Marc) of Astorville and predeceased by his step-sister Lisa Bourdon. Trevor was grandson and chum of grandfather Jack Serran Sr. of North Bay. He will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the home of Wellington & Terry Hughes, 844 Papineau Road, Mattawa for a Celebration of Trevor's Life on Saturday, September 2, 2017 from 1 to 3 pm with a Memorial Service starting at 3 pm. If desired, memorial donations may be made to a fund held in trust for his daughter Sireya (cheques only please) are suggested.
