NUBEL, Wilfred F/L CD (Ret’d)

Peacefully at Eastholme, Powassan, surrounded by his loving family, in his 98th year. Wilf was predeceased by his wife Elizabeth Jean “Betty” (Martin) (1922-2011). He was the proud and loving father of Jim Nubel of Ottawa, Dianne Wheeldon (Ron) of Powassan and Nancy Nubel of North Bay. He was the much loved grandfather of Ronnie Wheeldon, Lisa Taillefer (Luc), Laura Martin (Craig) and Jamie Nubel (Lindsay); and great-grandfather of Katelyn & Curtis Wheeldon, Noah & Nicholas Taillefer, Melissa & Jessica Martin and Hannah & Blake Nubel. Wilf was predeceased by his sisters Margaret Desmond (Claude, deceased) and Clara Leckner (Gail, deceased). Uncle Wilf will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. The Nubel family will receive visitors at the Paul Funeral Home, Powassan on Friday, January 13, 2017 from 1:30 to 3:00 pm. followed by a funeral service at 3:00 pm. Spring interment Nipissing Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to All Heart Pet Rescue or the Canadian Cancer Society are suggested.
