Dolores Katherine (Latour) Larochelle

Dolores Larochelle died unexpectedly, from complications of a stroke, on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at North Bay Regional Health Centre. She was 87 years old. Dolores (Latour) was predeceased by her husband Louis J. Larochelle (1925-2005). She was the much-loved mother of the late Terry Larochelle (1957-2022) (Cindy of Callander), Christine Labrecque (Len) of Chisholm, Kim Jardine (Dale) of Powassan, Todd Larochelle (Kathy) of North Bay and Lisa DeCarufel of North Bay. She will be lovingly remembered by grandchildren: Gordon Loxton, Cherry Jardine, Ryan Jardine, Kory Noel, Kevin Larochelle, Madison Larochelle, Alyssia DeCarufel, Devyn DeCarufel; and great-grandchildren: Aubrie, Kyle, Ava, Cruz, Emma, Adynn, Ellody, Cayden, Rilynn, Konlee and Maverick. Dolores was the dear sister of Denzil Latour of North Bay, Leonard Latour of Powassan, Glen Latour of Mattawa and Louis Latour of North Bay. She was predeceased by her parents Florence (Dunn) and Wilfred Latour and her siblings Lorean Generoux, Jack Latour, Dennis Latour and Delma Hauck. Cremation has taken place. The Larochelle family will receive visitors at the Paul Funeral Home, Powassan, on Saturday, March 23 from 11 am – 12:30 pm. Funeral Mass at St. Joseph’s Church on Saturday, March 23 at 1 pm. A private graveside service will be held for the burial of her ashes next to her husband Louis at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Powassan in the spring.
