After courageously enduring many health challenges, Anna Marie Haddow died Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at North Bay Regional Health Centre. She was in her 87th year. May (McMillan) was predeceased by her husbands Charles Raymond Haddow (died, 2012) and her first husband Donald Horne (died, 2004). She was the beloved mother of John Smith of Surrey, BC, Barry Horne (Donna) of Victoria, BC, Katherine Horne of Portage la Prairie, MB and Ross Horne (Tammy) of Sioux Lookout, ON. Grandma will be lovingly remembered by three grandchildren, Tambria and Ryon Horne and Jennifer Fischer (Dave). Anna Marie was the dear sister of Irene Dokuchie of Niagara Falls, Patricia McMillan of Owen Sound and Joe McMillan (Win) of Nanaimo, B.C. She will be fondly remembered by many relatives in Rainey River, Kenora, Thunder Bay and Fort Frances. The Haddow and Horne families will receive visitors at the Paul Funeral Home, Powassan on Sunday, May 20, 2018 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. and on Monday, May 21 from 10:00 until the funeral service at 11:00 am. Interment at St. Joseph’s Cemetery will follow. If desired, donations in memory of May to the War Amps are suggested.
