WHITEHEAD, BRIAN EMERSON “Whitey”

At North Bay Regional Health Centre on Saturday, May 5, 2018. He was in his 66th year. Brian was the beloved husband of Donna (Beatty) Culin of Trout Creek. He was the much-loved father of Kyle (Jennifer) of Sault Ste. Marie and the late Sara (1977-1997); and grandfather of Owen, Brookelyn, Carly, Kaitlin, Maya, Kalen and Jase. Brian was the cherished son of Helen Whitehead of Trout Creek and the late Reginald Whitehead and the dear brother of Eric Whitehead (Jacquie) of Callander. He is survived by his first wife Leona Whitehead of North Bay. Brian, known by many as “Whitey”, was a retired, Production Supervisor from Fabrene in North Bay. He was well known in the local sports world and will be fondly remembered by many co-workers, friends and team mates. Cremation has taken place. The Whitehead family will receive visitors at the Paul Funeral Home, Powassan, on Thursday, May 10, 2018 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. The funeral service will be held on Friday, May 11, 2018 at St. John’s Anglican Church, 301 Main Street East, North Bay at 11:00 am. Interment of ashes at St. John’s Cemetery, North Bay will occur at a later date. If desired, memorial donations to the the Sara Whitehead Memorial Scholarship Fund are suggested (cheques only please). As per Brian’s wish, please also consider signing your organ donor card.
