Carmon Smith Death Notice

SMITH, Carmon George

After a short battle with cancer, Carmon Smith died peacefully, with family by his side, at North Bay Regional Health Centre. He was in his 71st year. Carmon was the beloved husband of Sharon (Towns) of Port Loring. He was the much-loved father of Carrie Smith of North Bay and Donald Smith of Loring, and grandfather of Victor, Daniel and Mariah St. Pierre. Carmon was the dear brother of Rick Smith (Sue) of Loring. He is survived by his mother Leta (Clapperton) Smith of Powassan and was predeceased by his father George Smith. Carmon worked many years alongside his father at Smith’s Autobody in Loring. The Smith family will receive visitors at Arnstein Gospel Hall on Friday, November 9, 2018 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. The funeral service will take place in the Hall on Saturday at 2:00 pm. Interment to follow at Port Loring Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society are suggested (cheques only please).
