STORIE, Daryl Albert James

Daryl Storie died peacefully on Friday, March 30, 2018 at his Christian Valley home, at the age of 78. He was predeceased by his parents Alfred  and Leona Storie, his wife Shirley (nee Paul) 1940-2012 and his step-daughter Cathy 1958-1975. Daryl was the loving father of Eldon Storie (Cimmeron) of Powassan and Doug Storie (Brennie) of British Columbia and step-father of Kirk Storie (Sally) of Powassan and Joanne Geyer (Russ) of Banff, Alberta. He was the proud grandfather of 22 and great-grandfather of 10. Daryl was the dear brother of Marilyn Young, Gerry, June Paul, and Glenda Whitehead and was predeceased by his siblings Delmar, Eldon, Howard, Eddie, Glen, and Don Storie, Merita Marion, Blayne Ann Luckashavitch, and his twin Darlene Peters. The Storie family will receive visitors for a Memorial Visitation at the Paul Funeral Home, Powassan, on Saturday, April 7, 2018 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm. It would be appreciated by the family if memorial donations were directed to the Heart & Stroke Foundation (cheques only please).
