EVERS, Donald Duane “Donny/Skunk”

After a brief illness, Don Evers died peacefully on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at Saint John Regional Hospital, New Brunswick, with his children by his side. He was in his 74th year. Donny was predeceased by only two months by his beloved wife Donna (Busch) (1946-2017). He was the much loved father of Andrea Gillespie (David) and Duane Evers; and grandfather of Devin and Nathaniel Gillespie, all of New Brunswick. Donny was the dear brother of Joan Paquette (Richard) of Essex, and was predeceased by his parents Adeline (Simms) and Elmer Evers. The Evers family will receive visitors at the Paul Funeral Home, Powassan on Sunday, May 7, 2017 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. A funeral service will be conducted in the funeral home chapel on Monday, May 8 at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at St. Paul’s Cemetery, Golden Valley. If desired, memorial donations to St. Paul’s United Church (cheques only please) are suggested.
