Donna Murphy died peacefully, on Wednesday, November 20, 2019, surrounded by her loving family at Cassellholme, North Bay. She was 72 years of age and lived at L’Arche for the past 30 years. Donna was predeceased by her beloved mother Dora (Garton) (1925-2019) and father Maurice Murphy (1915-1999). She was the loving sister of Arlene Roberts (Elmer) of Golden Valley, Sharon Fry (Roland) of Loring and Lynn Johnson (Blair) of Golden Valley; and proud aunt of Samantha, Steven, Sheila, Todd, Andrew, Robert, Sarah, Evan and Shayna and nine great-nieces and nephews. The Murphy family will receive visitors at the Paul Funeral Home on Saturday, November 23, 2019 from 10 to 11 am. The funeral service will follow at 11 am in the funeral home. Cremation will follow with interment of ashes at St. Paul’s Cemetery in the spring. If desired, donations may be made in Donna’s memory to St. Paul’s United Church or L’Arche.
