RICH, Doreen Muriel “Pat”

After a failing health related to Alzheimers, Pat Rich died peacefully, with family by her side, on Sunday, October 14, 2018 at Eastholme, Powassan. She was in her 81st year. Pat (Reichstein) was the beloved wife of Kenneth Louis Rich of Powassan. She was the cherished mother of Dan (Shelley) of North Bay, Desmond of Chisholm, Laurie (Steve Wade) of Orillia, Brenda (Phil Renaud) of Princeton, BC, Valerie (Tim Sparrow) of Fonthill, Dean (Dusty) of Cambridge, Michael of Powassan, and Murray (Leslie) of Alliston. She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Ashlin, Erin, Abby, Bradley, Nicole, Ryan, Michael, Gordon, Brodie, Adam, Ben, Chris, Matthew, Muriel and James. Pat was the much-loved sister of Norma Edmond (Ed) of Nipissing, Fred Reichstein (Gerry) of Powassan, Eugene Reichstein (Pat) of Trout Creek and was predeceased by her siblings Evelyn Walsh (late Jim), Theresa Holtz (late Frank), Rita Leclair (late Alvin), Marie Hummel (late Frank), Ambrose Reichstein (Rita of Redbridge) and Albert Reichstein (late Maureen). She was the dear sister-in-law of Norman Rich (Joan), Monica Conrad (late Mervin), the late Gary Rich (Geraldine, surviving), the late Carl Rich (late Edna) and Margaret Popkie (Bernard). Pat formerly worked at Bell Canada, Sportspal Canoe and at Eastholme. Her family will receive visitors at the Paul Funeral Home, Powassan, on Friday, October 19, 2018 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Church, Powassan on Saturday at 11 am. Interment at St. Joseph's Cemetery will follow.
