GEISLER, Elizabeth “Betty”

After a long illness, Betty died peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family at North Bay Regional Health Centre on Thursday, July 4, 2019. She was 87 years old. Betty (Howe) was the beloved wife of Leonard Geisler of Powassan. She was the much-loved mother of Richard “Rick” (Cathy) of Powassan, Lynn (Ken Gallagher) of St. Albert, Alberta, Larry (Jackie) of Powassan, Sherrill (Tim Smith) of Chisholm Township, Wendy (Dan Bowman) of Powassan and Ron (Lana) of Powassan. Grandma will be lovingly remembered by 13 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren. Betty was predeceased by her sisters Margaret Coote and Sheila Kibbler. Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Powassan Union Cemetery.
