REID, Laura “Marie”

Marie died peacefully with her son by her side, at Eastholme, Powassan, on Saturday, October 28, 2017. She was in her 75th year. Marie was predeceased by her husband Robert “Bob” F. Reid (1940-2012) and was the beloved mother of Mike Reid (Donna Mae Robins) of Powassan and proud grandmother of Emmitt. She was predeceased by her siblings Dorothy Hamilton, Ross and John McCormack.  Immediate cremation will be followed by the interment of her ashes at Greenwood Cemetery, Milverton, ON, at a later date. If desired, memorial donations to the First Powassan Scouts or the Eastholme Resident’s Council (cheques only please) are suggested.
