At the blessed age of 105, Mary Ross died peacefully, with family by her side, on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at Eastholme, Powassan. Mary (Rowlandson) was predeceased by her husband Eugene Ellsey Ross (1906 - 1975). She was the beloved mother of Ruth Ann Laplante (Maurice) of North Bay, Marilyn Driscoll (Brian) of Nipissing, David Ross (Beverley) of Peterborough and the late Brian Ross (Barb of Winnipeg, surviving). She was the much-loved grandmother of ten grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren. Mary was predeceased by her siblings Helen Liljestrand, Austin Rowlandson, Ida Lutes, Art Rowlandson and infant James. The Ross family will receive visitors at the Paul Funeral Home, Powassan on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm and on Wednesday, June 26 from 10:00 to 11:00 am followed by the funeral service conducted by Pastor Herb Nye at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Powassan Union Cemetery.
