Pearl died peacefully at Nipissing Manor, Corbeil on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at age 91. She was predeceased by her husband Douglas Arthur Bowes and her grandson Shannon Toebes. She was the loving mother of Caroline Toebes (Nick) of Corbeil and Brenda Hiusser (Fred) of Brantford. Pearl was the proud grandmother of Scott (Lisa), Lindsay (Mike), Christa, Jamie and 10 great-grandchildren. A Memorial Gathering will be held Saturday, March 24th beginning at 1:00 pm in the Callander Legion Branch #445. Pearl was a World War II Veteran. Her family sends a big thank you to all the wonderful angels who took care of Pearl at Nipissing Manor. If desired, donations in memory of Pearl to Callander Legion Branch 445 or Nipissing Manor Residents Auxilliary Fund are suggested.
