AULTMAN, Richard Thomas

Surrounded by family, Richard Aultman died peacefully, following a long illness, on Thursday, June 13, 2019 at North Bay Regional Health Centre. He was 84 years old. Richard was the beloved husband of Ruth (Hummel) and much-loved father of Kathy Bilodeau (the late Martin), Cindy Aultman (Mike), Roland Aultman (Annie), Benjamin Aultman (Karen), Christopher Aultman (Tina), Laurie Dobbs (Bruce) and Monica Palfrey (Andy). He will be lovingly remembered by 37 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Richard was predeceased by his parents George Aultman and Anna Marie (Kunkel). He was the dear brother of Louise Rick (late Alban) and was predeceased by his siblings Margaret Oberholzer (late Vincent), Henry (late Kathleen), Andy (Wanda, surviving) and Phillip (Dianne, surviving). Richard will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. The Aultman family will receive visitors at the Paul Funeral Home, Powassan on Sunday, June 16, 2019 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm, with evening prayers at 8:45 pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Church on Monday, June 17 at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
