WILLIAMS, Rosie Jean

After a brief illness Rosie died peacefully at North Bay Regional Health Centre on Wednesday, January 17, 2018. She was in her 89th year. Rosie was predeceased by her first husband Gerald Keetch and her second husband John Williams. She retired as a pastry chef from the SAGE Complex at CFB North Bay and formerly lived in Powassan and North Bay before spending her last five years at Nipissing Manor in Corbeil. Rosie was the beloved mother of Wayne Keetch (Debbie) of Loring and the late Marilyn Robertson (Keith of Loring). She was the loving grandmother of Mindy, Shane, April and great-grandmother of Taran and Strowan. Rosie was predeceased by her parents Olive (Bowers) and Andy Brooks, great-grandchild Britton, brothers Ervin, Frank and Clayton Brooks, and sister-in-law Eunice. She is also survived by sisters-in-law Marie Brooks of Loring and Bev Brooks of Toronto. The family will receive visitors at St. Andrew’s United Church, Port Loring on Monday from 1 to 2 pm. The Memorial Service will follow at 2 pm. Cremation has taken place. Interment of ashes will take place at Port Loring Cemetery in the spring of 2018.
