PAROLIN, Ruth Jean (Formerly of Loring)

Ruth Parolin died peacefully at Nipissing Manor Nursing Care Centre, Corbeil, on Wednesday, August 14, 2019. She was 91 years old. Ruth (Currie) was predeceased by her husband William August “Bill” Parolin (1925-2002). She was the beloved mother of Laurena Patton (Angus Buchanan) of Loring and Robert “Bob” Parolin (Colleen) of Quesnel, BC. She will be lovingly remembered by grandchildren Meaghan Ruth Patton and David (Aina) and Brent Parolin. Ruth was the dear sister of Inez McIntyre of North Bay, June Fredericks of Capreol, Joan Lymburner of St. Catharines, Betty Toles of Cambridge, Della Backer of Eau Claire and Candyce Chipchase of Calgary. She was predeceased by her sisters-in-law Eva Parolin, Alta Beck and Lorna Boyes. Cremation has taken place. The Parolin family will receive visitors at St. Andrew’s United Church, Port Loring on Sunday, August 18, 2019 from 1:00 to 2:00 pm, followed by a memorial service at 2:00. Interment of ashes at Port Loring Cemetery.
