Suddenly and unexpectedly, Wendy Chapman died without suffering at her home in Trout Creek on Sunday, July 8, 2018. She was in her 64th year. Wendy (Lapointe) was the beloved wife of Jim Chapman of Trout Creek. She was the very much-loved mother of Dustin (Lesley) of Port Perry, Kale of Barrie, Allea Young (Darren) of Trout Creek and Krista Willett (Kevin) of South River and grandmother of Cierra, Quinlan, Cameron, Liam, Keira and Jayna. Wendy was the dear sister of Robert, Jim (Louise), Allan and Penny Lapointe, all of Trout Creek and the late Grace “Tudy” Peters (the late Bill Peters). Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Wendy's life service will be held at the Trout Creek Community Centre on Saturday, July 28, 2018 from 1:30 to 4:00 pm, with a brief service at 2:00 pm. A private interment of ashes will take place at Trout Creek Union Cemetery. If desired, donations are suggested in memory of Wendy to the Prader Willi Syndrome Association (cheques only please).
