William "Bill" Brooks Death Notice

BROOKS, WILLIAM GEORGE

At North Bay Regional Health Centre on Wednesday, May 9, 2018. He was in his 89th year. Bill was predeceased by his wife Florence Ann (Ensoll) (1934-2014). He was the cherished father of Linda Purdon (Wayne) of Powassan and Sandra “Sam” Dudley (Jon) of Carstairs, AB. Grandpa will be lovingly remembered by grandchildren William (Shannon) and Julie McFadden (Jeramie Stewart), all of Powassan, Erik Kocoj (Anna) of Airdrie, AB, Alex Kocoj (Meliza) of Calgary, AB, Kaitlyne Dudley (Branson) of Oshawa and great-grandchildren Cayden, Dylan, Charlotte, Hailey, Gwen, Nolan and Teagan. Bill was predeceased by his sister Mona Ludlow (Keith of Scarborough). William suffered from Parkinson’s Disease for the last ten years of his life. He requested and was granted medical assistance in death. The family would like to thank Dr. R. Gauthier, RNP Wayne Laperlet and RN Melissa for their understanding and guidance. Dad’s death was so peaceful after all the years of pain and frustration. He is now at peace and has joined the love of his life, Florence. Cremation has taken place. A graveside service and Interment of Bill’s ashes will take place at Powassan Union Cemetery on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at 1:00 pm. If desired, memorial donations to a Food Bank of your choice is suggested (cheques only please).
