FRY, Alma Maud 

Alma Fry died peacefully, at Nipissing Manor, Corbeil, on Friday, March 11, 2022. She was 100 years old. Alma (Peever) was predeceased by her husband Alfred John Fry (1920-2011). She was the beloved mother of Vivian Weller (the late Edgar) of Bear Valley, Veronica Farley (Len) of Bear Valley, Jacqueline Restoule (the late Gord) of Dokis Village, Randy Fry (Sandra) of Brampton, Corrine White (the late Rick) of Alliston, Laverne Fry (Louise) of Burk’s Falls and Becky Seguin (Gus) of Azilda. She was predeceased by her grandson Gord Restoule Jr. and will be lovingly remembered by 19 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Alma was the last of 13 children of Emily (Tennant) and Albert Peever. For many years Alma operated the Bear Valley Post Office in her home. The Fry family will receive visitors at the Paul Funeral Home, Powassan, on Saturday, March 19, 2022 from 1:00 to 2:30 pm. The funeral service will follow at 2:30 pm and will be live-streamed at paulfuneralhome.ca. Spring interment will take place at Commanda Cemetery.
