Barbara Rich Death Notice

RICH, Barbara Anne

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Barbara Anne Rich on March 24, 2023. Born in Toronto on October 21, 1953, she was predeceased by her parents Louise (Howard) and Arthur Randall and her beloved fur baby Levi. Barb is survived by her husband Glenn Rich Sr. and her son Glenn Rich Jr. (Renee), grandchildren Josh, Trent and Caitlin (Taylor) as well as her great-grandson Logan. Barb is also survived by her sisters Marlyne (John) and Ruth (John) and brothers (twin) Doug (Elizabeth) and Arthur, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Barb spent many years working in various nursing homes in the surrounding area. She was a talented seamstress and liked to play bingo when the opportunity arose. Her family always enjoyed their crocheted blankets and socks. However, her true love was her family. She lived for her time with her grandchildren, loved playing card games and having long life talks. She is so loved and will be greatly missed.

Cremation has taken place. A private celebration of her life will be held at a later date and any donations may be made to the SPCA (ontariospca.ca) or a charity of the donor’s choice. To leave a memory or tribute for the family, please visit paulfuneralhome.ca or call the Paul Funeral Home at 705-724-2024.
