Brian George Colley

Brian passed peacefully, his family by his side, at Nipissing Serenity Hospice, North Bay on Saturday, August 9, 2025. He was 84 years old.

Brian was the beloved spouse of Ella Avery (née Grawbarger) of Callander and stepfather of Michael Avery (Louise) of Perth and Tammy Mathias (Raymond) of Powassan. He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Michaela, Dexter, and Jerrica and great-grandchildren Easton and Finn.

Brian was predeceased by his parents Frances (née Dowdall) and Roy Colley and his brothers Lysle and Robert. He is survived by his sisters Dorothy, Merna and Shelby Ann.

Brian was retired after 33 years with the Ontario Northland Transportation Commission, where he worked in a management position.

A celebration of Brian’s life will take place on Sunday, August 17, 2025 at the Callander Legion. Gathering will begin at 1:00 pm, with a service at 1:30 pm. A reception will follow until 4:00 pm.
