FORESHEW, Carey Rae

Carey Foreshew of Chelmsford, and formerly of North Bay and Loring, died suddenly from complications of cancer, at Health Sciences North, Sudbury, on Monday, December 28, 2020. He was 60 years old. Carey was the son of Diane (Gillette) and Carl Foreshew of North Bay; husband and soul-mate of Chantal (Gauthier) of Chelmsford;  beloved father of Dustin Foreshew (Jamie) of Corbeil and Marlie Farnsworth (Corey) of North Bay; Grandpa of Noah, Olivia, Elliot, Graysin, Ezra and Carleigh; brother of Chris Foreshew (Josée) of North Bay, Craig Foreshew (Karen) of Lindsay, and Paul Foreshew (Wanda) of Loring; Step-father of Marc-André Simard (Ali) of Toronto, Marie-Ève Simard (Tyler) of Sudbury; Robin Armour (France) of Huntsville, and Amanda Morrow (Jason) of Chandler, Arizona. He also leaves step-grandchildren Morgan, Hunter, Jo-Leigh, Liam, Alex, Erika and Lucas, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Carey was a truck driver for most of his life, and most recently operated Powassan Storage Solutions, storage units and container sales in Powassan. Most of all he was a loving, caring man who will be greatly missed by everyone whose life he has touched. Carey will be remembered for his resiliency and his ability to connect with people. He leaves us with the incredible joy he felt for life and a desire to make him proud. A celebration of Carey’s life will take place at a later date. Cremation has taken place.
