Cliff Pearce died unexpectedly, at North Bay Regional Health Centre on Saturday, August 7, 2021. He was 84 years old. Cliff was predeceased by his wife Jeannette (Larochelle) (1945-2004). He was the beloved father of Dave Pearce (Lori) of Chisholm, Mike Pearce (Maddy) of North Bay, Jean Pearce of North Bay, Donna Hughes (Jeff) of Powassan and the late Tim Pearce. He was the much-loved grandfather of Larry, Vanessa, Rebecca, Krystal, Kelsey, Jacob, Spencer, Jennifer, Joshua, Rosalie, Kyle and Jessica; and great-grandfather of 12. Cliff was the dear brother of Joan King (the late Cecil) of Nipissing, Edgar Pearce (Marian) of Chisholm and Richard Pearce (Monique) of Chisholm. Cliff owned and operated Clifford Pearce Trucking for many years, logging pulpwood and fire wood throughout the area. The Pearce family will receive visitors at the Paul Funeral Home, Powassan, on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm. All are welcome, but please note that COVID-19 protocols will apply – attendees must sanitize upon entry, wear a mask and physically distance. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm. Cremation will follow with interment at St. Louis de France Cemetery, Chisholm at a later date.
