Colleen Redwood Death Notice

REDWOOD, Colleen Norma

Surrounded by her family, Colleen Redwood died peacefully at her home in Powassan, on Monday, August 23, 2021. She was 57 years old. Colleen was the beloved wife of William “Bill” Redwood of Powassan. She was the cherished daughter of Donnette (Davies) of Powassan and the late Chuck Nagel. Colleen was the much-loved mother of Teri Redwood (Dave Young) and Evan Redwood (Katrina McCarrel), all of Powassan. Grandma will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Harley and Charlie. Colleen was the dear sister of Trent Nagel of Port Dover and was predeceased by her twin sister Corinne Nagel and brother Todd Nagel. Colleen worked alongside her husband Bill at their family business Roadway Services in North Bay and was well liked by their customers for her easy, friendly demeanor. Too late in her cancer diagnosis, Colleen was informed about the MAID (Medical Assistance in Dying) program. Colleen and her family wish that the public was more informed about this compassionate choice and encourage everyone to become educated on the subject. The Redwood family will receive visitors at the Paul Funeral Home, Powassan, on Friday, August 27, 2021 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. The funeral service will be held Saturday, August 28 in the funeral home chapel, at 2:00 pm. Cremation will follow. Please note that COVID-19 protocols will be enforced. Masks must be worn and physical distancing required. Should you wish to make a donation in Colleen’s memory, All Heart Pet Rescue (allheartpetrescue.com) is suggested.
