BESTER, Darrell Robert Henry

Darrell Bester died after a brief battle with Leukemia, his family by his side at Health Sciences North, Sudbury, on Wednesday, December 6, 2023. He was 47 years old.

Darrell was the dearly loved husband of Nathalie (Lalonde) of Corbeil; cherished son of Linda (Brown) and Bob Bester of Powassan; much-loved brother of Shelley and Wendy. He will be lovingly remembered by his nephews Mackenzie, Hayden, Noah, Logan, and Avery, and by his brothers-in-law Chad Bussey and Dean Byers. Darrell will live on in the hearts of his many uncles, aunts, cousins, friends and co-workers.

An electrician by trade, Darrell worked many years with Redpath and more recently with BGIS at North Bay Regional Health Centre. He will be fondly remembered for his love of the outdoors, being a dedicated Leafs fan, his generous nature and his many, random acts of kindness.

Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Darrell’s life will be held on January 13, 2024 at the Callander Community Centre. Doors will open at 12:30 pm with a Celebration of Life service beginning at 1:00 pm. That service will be followed by an informal reception and continued sharing of memories and support until 5:00 pm. Please come dressed casually.
