After a courageous and long battle with mental health, Diana’s battle ended on Monday, July 7, 2025. She was 30 years old.
Diana was the beloved wife of Dustin Geisler of Powassan.
She was the much-loved daughter of Elizabeth and Richard Shrum of Commanda and the late Mark Manella; and the sister of Jackie (Marcus), Jason (Bekah), Angela (Nick), Cody, Cory and Danni (Laine). Diana was the loving aunt to Chase, Annabell, Raiden and Melody.
Diana is survived by her maternal grandmother Wanda Aultman (the late Andy) of Commanda and was predeceased by her paternal grandparents Leonora and Sammy J. Manella.
Diana is also survived by her parents-in-law Lana and Ron Geisler, and grandfather-in-law Ron Hummel, all of Powassan and was predeceased by grandparents-in-law Clarice Hummel and Betty and Leonard Geisler.
She will be lovingly remembered by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Diana deeply loved and was loved in return by her riding partner Rain and her many other animals.
Diana was the owner/operator of The Decal Shop Canada in Powassan, where she showcased her exceptional gift of artistry and graphic creations, both locally and worldwide. She was also a talented musician and singer and a devoted barrel racer and equestrian.
A celebration of Diana’s life will be held on Sunday, July 13, 2025 at the Paul Funeral Home, Powassan, from 1:00 to 3:00 pm, with a service of remembrance at 3:00 pm. Casual attire, jeans and cowboy hats are welcome! Immediately following, a procession to Trout Creek will commence, and a tribute to Diana and her love of horses will take place at the NBHA Show at the Trout Creek Community Centre, in the horse ring. Following that a gathering at the Commanda Community Centre will be held in her honour.
