STUART, Donald Edward
Don Stuart died peacefully, with family by his side, at Nipissing Manor, Corbeil. He was 77 years old. Don was the much-loved father of Melanie Fraser (Donald) of Prince Edward Island, Bryan Stuart (Amy) of Callander, James Duhaime (Michelle) of Alberta, Mark Stuart (Kristy) of Ottawa and Chad Stuart (Sam) of Saskatchewan and grandfather of eight. Don was the dear brother of Ruth Aubin (Gilles), Helen Wall (Richard Bernard), Doris Stuart (Sue Lapointe), Carl Allhusen (Helen) and the late Richard Stuart (Denise, surviving). Don was retired from the Ministry of Transportation where he worked as a Draftsman. He was an avid hunter and fisher and a familiar face in the coffee shops in Astorville. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Don’s life will be announced at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to Ducks Unlimited (ducks.ca) or the Heart & Stroke Foundation (heartandstroke.ca) are suggested.
