Donald Francis Weiler

With family by his side, Don died peacefully at Cassellholme, North Bay, on Sunday, March 31, 2024. He was 90 years old. Don was the beloved husband of Beatrice (Aultman) of Powassan. He was the much-loved father of Darlene Giebeler (Fred) of North Bay, Sally Way (Norm) of Powassan, Peter Weiler of Powassan, Paul Weiler of Bracebridge and Kevin Weiler (Tammy) of Powassan. He will be lovingly remembered by eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Don was predeceased by his parents Sarah (Busch) and Ferdinand Weiler and his sisters Isabelle Kunkel, Margaret Taylor, Helen Sikora, Lillian Topham and Rachel Tremblay. He is survived by his sisters Monica Kunkel, Gladys Piper and Audrey Kunkel.

The Weiler family will receive visitors at the Paul Funeral Home, Powassan on Friday, April 5, 2024 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Vigil prayers at 8:30 pm. The funeral mass will take place on Saturday, April 6, at 10:30 am. at St. Joseph’s Church, Powassan. Spring interment will take place at St. Joseph’s Cemetery at a later date.
